Autism Awareness Day 2017

Hi Everyone,

Today is the 2nd April 2017 and it is Autism Awareness Day and as many of you may know that i am Myself Autistic and proud of being Autistic. Autism Awareness day is a very important day to me as it raises awareness for those with Autism and Aspergers. Autism Spectrum Disorder which shortened version is ASD. Autism is a condition that affects people who have autism social interaction and their communication skills and also their social behaviours and their behaviours and their interests

According to the NHS Direct websites while i was doing research for this blog post to make sure i did not miss any important facts out of this blog post.The Symptoms show before the child is three years old and a fact that 1 in 100 every people have Autism and Asperger's.

Symptoms and Traits that can show you have autistic traits :

  • Tend to have difficulties with communication skills such as interacting with peers at their age and they prefer having their own company to interacting with others 
  • Tend to have problems with change and adjusting to change in their routine. 
  • Have  a delay in  speech and language skills 
  • Prefer to speak with one word instead of talking in sentences
  • can struggle to have the awareness of others personal space 
  • May not take interest in what other peers there ages do such as going to birthday parties 
  • can avoid and find eye contact difficult
